Palazzo Valentini

Palazzo Valentini

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown in Calliano in the "Campi Grandi" vineyard.

Grapes are carefully hand-picked at advanced phenolic maturity and vinified in red in stainless steel barrels for about 20 days when the must is constantly in contact with the skins.

They are then refined in small oak barrel in the historic wine cellar of Palazzo Valentini after which this wine is named.

This wine has the charisma of traditions, the authority of historic wines and a stubbornly modern dynamic vitality.

Seducingly versatile, it has the strength of Cabernet Sauvignon which magnifies its style thus relaunching the unmistakable charm of Salizzoni’s wine cellar.

Well balanced, it immediately plays a leading role, velvety, almost caressing in its organolectic whole with a determined finish, pleasant to the palate, almost involving.

A masterly structure well matches with a thick variegated filling to be enjoyed in time as well.

Ruby red in colour, it has an ample and deceiving perfume with long intense aromatic persistence with hints of red fruits, cherries in particular with a note of vanilla and cocoa.

A perfect balance of softness on the palate and acidity with velvet sweet tannins inflexibly elegant which is typical of this kind of vine.
